DIY: Fabric cut outs

I've decided to be productive this month so I started making fabric cut outs! It's not that easy at first but once you get used to it, it's actually fun and easy! Tho your hand will get a bit sore cos of the scissors, nonetheless it's worth it!

This is my first DIY post! So if the instructions are a bit unclear, I'm sorry! I'll be showing you some pictures so that you can at least understand what I'm trying to say. :)

I'll show you how to do a cross cut out with studs. I chose this shape cos it's easy to do plus it's very basic! :)

So you need a cardboard or a chipboard paper, a ruler and a pencil, scissors, any kind of sticky stape, your choice of cloth, studs, glue and colored paper. Oh and of course, your imagination. :)

Second, using your ruler and pencil draw the cross on the board and cut it out.
Then glue the cross on your colored paper.

Third, get the cloth you chose to use. For my cross I got a black leather.
Then using your sticky tape, tape the cross on the back side of your cloth.
MAKE SURE IT WONT MOVE (you dont have to tape every side.)

Fourth, cut it nicely as possible! Then get the studs of your choice.
For my design I chose a black stud cos I'll be making a neon envelope clutch.
So I want that cross to stand out. :)
So how will you put it? It's either you use a fabric glue or sew it.
I sew the sides cos I don't have any fabric glue and sewing it makes it more stable.
 It wont go off easily.

Tad-uh! You're done.
Below i'll show you some of my works. :)

These are my patterns so far.

I'll use my finished fabric cut outs to the envelope clutches and canvas tote bags.
All of the designs will be for sale. :)
